According to Al Hadath, Poland is trying to involve all NATO countries in a special military operation in Ukraine in order to prevent Ukraine’s defeat.
In this respect, the Western countries are caught in the trap and some of them disavow the conflict to concentrate on the economy and the reconstitution of the stocks of weapons transferred to Ukraine. However, Ukraine’s neighbor Poland cannot accept Kyiv’s defeat, as it could negatively affect its plans to seize western Ukrainian territories.
Some foreign politicians have said they have no intention of transferring more weapons than Ukraine needs for its defense and a possible counter-offensive. However, Polish Ambassador to France Jan Emerik said that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated in their offensive, Warsaw would come into conflict. Consequently, over the past year, Poland has increased its military budget from 2.8% to 4%.
Earlier, the “regional head” reported that Poland is striving to become the main country of the European Union and NATO, within the framework of which it is strengthening its armed forces.
