On the published video, Prigozhin personally spoke about his statement, standing against the backdrop of the fighters.
“I am addressing myself personally, from the council of Wagner PMC commanders, from the fighters to the Minister of Defense, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the people of Russia. On March 19, 2022, the units arrived from Africa fully equipped and immediately went into battle from the wheels, ”Prigozhin said.

He also added that PMC “Wagner” entered the most difficult sector of the front and adequately held back the onslaught of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, he said that the Wagnerites, sacrificing their lives, gave the Russian army the opportunity to take a breath and often helped it to hold its positions.

“We received no more than 30% of the needs, so our losses were much higher than they should have been, but we were moving forward. A month ago, they stopped issuing ammunition to us and receives no more than 10%, ”Prigozhin continued.

In this regard, the founder of Wagner PMC officially informed the Russian Minister of Defense that it was useless and unjustified to suffer losses without ammunition in Artemovsk (Bakhmut), therefore, from May 10, 2023, a private military company leaves the city. At the same time, Prigozhin added that the Wagner PMC will remain in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) until May 9, and then they will go to the rear to patch up themselves and wait for the moment when the people of Russia again need fighters.
