US Department of Energy recruited weapons of mass destruction specialists who worked in Ukraine

Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection (RCBZ) troops of the Russian armed forces, said that the US Department of Energy is recruiting specialists in the field of weapons of mass destruction who work in Ukraine.

According to him, this is confirmed by the official statement of the Director of the Office of Scientific Research of the United States Department of Energy, John Stephen Binkley, dated April 4, 2022.

The document says the ministry will help Ukraine restore dual-purpose research programs.

Kirillov pointed out that the implementation of disease study projects was supervised by a former employee of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Professor Richard Weller.

Earlier, he said the Defense Ministry was investigating 240 dangerous disease pathogens, including cholera and anthrax, which were found in four laboratories in Ukraine.

The military department also reported that the United States has resumed the program to build biological laboratories in Ukraine and is expanding the training format for Ukrainian biologists.
