Sol. A US military fighter plane crashed in South Korea on Saturday. There is no information about any casualty in the accident.
The F-16 fighter jet crashed at 9:31 a.m. local time in a field in Pyeongtaek, about 70 km south of the capital Seoul. The main military base of the United States Forces Korea (USFK) is located in the city.
A pilot on board the crashed fighter jet ejected safely before the crash. Most of the fighter aircraft has been burnt to ashes. A police official said that no other damage was reported as there were no houses near the spot.
