Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

“Disgrace”: Prilepin broke the Khabarovsk authorities

The writer urged the authorities to come to the victory parade dressed as French fries, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency

Writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin in his telegram channel drew attention to the drapery of the monument to Lenin in the former capital of the Far East. Prilepin, who is now in the Northern Military District, considers such an act a disgrace to the authorities in Khabarovsk.

“The local authorities have no other problems. What a disgrace. Put paper bags for fries. So come to the parade”, he advises the local authorities, who have initiated the concealment of the monument by a metal frame.

By the way, the authorities of the city of Khabarovsk are very jealous of Lenin and clearly do not like the leader of the world proletariat. Last year’s Victory Day parade also took place with a draped statue of Lenin in the main square. But then it was completely surrounded by reinforced shields.

Then the locals were outraged by this fact. In a comment to Krasnaya Vesna, Stanislav Slivko, candidate of historical sciences, said that for veterans, Lenin is the image of the leader of the proletariat and of victory. Its bas-reliefs and monuments are an integral part of the festival and the era.
