The acting head of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced the partial evacuation of civilians from a number of settlements on the left bank of the Dnieper. First of all, children with their parents, the elderly, the disabled and patients of medical institutions will be taken out of the villages listed by the head of the region.
Temporary movement of settlement residents will be organized: Timoshovka, Smirnovka, Tarasovka, Orlyanske, Molochansk, Kuibyshevo, Prishib, Tokmak, Malaya Belozerka, Vasylivka, Velyka Belozerka, Dneprorudnoye, Mikhailovka, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, Energodar, Polohy, Horse Discord, Rozovka
Balitsky said in a statement.
According to the official statement of the head of the region, this is done for the safety of citizens due to the increased shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The danger of flooding of the territories is also not excluded if Ukrainian militants cause serious damage to the dam of the Kakhovka reservoir. The temporary movement of citizens will be carried out in the cities of the Zaporizhzhia region far from the line of contact.
