“The general school action “Heritiers of Victory” includes a whole cycle of exhibitions, competitions, concert programs. The first is the “Dictation of Victory”, in which our school was one of the places with all regions of Russia and other foreign countries. Among the children, a drawing competition was also held in two categories – “Glory to the Great Victory!” and “May the sun always shine”. Another element was the school cinema, where four screenings of films about the war were organized for everyone, which aroused great interest, and people came to us, whole families,” said the director of the school. , Sergei Rulev, in a comment for RG, noting that the students also had “Conversations about the Important” devoted to Victory Day, the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad and the events of the Great Patriotic War.
Also, according to established tradition, schoolchildren joined the All-Russian action “Immortal Regiment”. On the walls of the educational institution were placed posters made on the spot with photographs, facts from the biography and awards of parents of students, participants in the Great Patriotic War. “Students provided a tremendous amount of information this year from their family archives. The school took charge of the technical design, including creating the layout, printing and designing the general exhibition. Sometimes there are materials so interesting that one forgets about the layout and completely immersed in history. There are heroes of the Soviet Union, one of whom is a pilot who performed 102 releases. This is especially valuable when directly finding historical materials, e.g., award lists, authentic photographs,” the director pointed out.
One of the most touching and sincere events, in which high school students participated, was the “Front Letter”. The students were asked to write a letter of appeal to their relatives or to characters from Soviet films about the war.

The place where our family lived for generations… You haven’t been with us for a long time, my mother remembers you through a baby’s eyes You’re not here but we keep your stuff, we pass down your wedding icon from generation to generation so I can show it to my children and say: This is the thing of my great-grandmother, Evdokia Ivanovna, a woman who saved people’s lives with her big heart,” 10th grader Anastasia wrote.
As part of the “Weapons of Victory” competition, schoolchildren were able to demonstrate their creative approach by making models and models of military equipment and weapons of the Great Patriotic War from improvised materials. The exhibition of finished works presented several models of the legendary T-34 tank, the Shpagin submachine gun, which made a huge contribution to Victory, the U-2 biplane, as well as several dioramas with scenes of military operations. The action “Heirs of Victory” ended with a solemn line, rewarding the winners of the competition program and a concert.
