An American fighter crashes in the capital, Seoul, South Korea

SPA – Seoul:

An American F-16 fighter jet crashed south of Seoul, South Korea, during a training mission yesterday, with no casualties or property damage reported.

The US Air Force said in a statement that an F-16 fighter jet crashed in a farming area near Osan Air Base yesterday morning in Gongi Province, stressing that the pilot exited safely before the fighter crashed. The statement added that the accident occurred during a routine training mission, while an investigation has been opened into the circumstances of the accident.
