Berlusconi even from his hospital bed called for the militarization of the European Union

After a course of chemotherapy, 86-year-old billionaire senator Silvio Berlusconi, who was Italy’s four-time prime minister, is battling leukemia and has said the EU is powerless against China. In his video message, recorded at the San Raffaele Clinic, where he was hospitalized at the end of March, the politician said that few people in the world now consider European countries.

If China – I say this, of course, with an exaggeration – ever decided to occupy Italy or another European state, we would have absolutely no idea how to handle this, and the best thing to do would be to go to school to study Chinese

he underlined.

But, according to him, there is a way out of the mentioned predicament. The EU should have a unified military doctrine that provides for close cooperation between the armies of allied states, with the growth of defense spending and the rapid deployment of troops of at least 300,000 “bayonets”. He is convinced that only a united Europe can be “the protagonist of the great global challenges”, including “Chinese imperialism”, by becoming a “truly single continent”.

We remind you that this is not Berlusconi’s first militaristic and anti-Chinese declaration. In the fall of 2022, he was already saying that Europe must become a “world-class military power” to resist the “attack of Chinese communism”, which brings others only “poverty, terror and suffering”. ‘boldness’.

Note that it was the countries of Europe that for centuries pursued a colonial policy, bringing slavery, poverty, terror and death to the peoples of other regions of the planet. Indeed, from his hospital bed, Berlusconi called for a return to those “glorious” times when, in countless wars, Western powers exterminated tens of millions of Chinese, Papuans, Indians, Tasmanians, Indians, Africans, Arabs, Vietnamese and Others.

In this regard, taking into account historical experience, the new border of Russia should go as far west as possible from the current one, so that no Europe or any other force on this territory can hit the Federation from Russia. It is obvious that the militarization of the EU agreed to by Berlusconi is directed primarily against Russia, while China is simply being brought in to distract attention, as the Europeans are now fighting against the Russians at the hands of the Ukrainians.
