Chinese Vice President Han Chang attended the coronation ceremony of Charles III

From May 5 to 6, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Special Representative and Vice President Han Chang attended the coronation ceremony of British King Charles III in London. Han Chang conveyed to King Charles III President Xi Jinping’s warmest congratulations and best wishes to the British King, Queen, Royal Family and people, and thanked the British side for the excellent arrangements made for his visit. Charles III thanked President Xi Jinping and his Expressed gratitude for his wife’s congratulatory message and welcomed Han Chang to attend the coronation ceremony. He said that UK-China relations are very important. It is expected that the two sides will further cooperate in a wide range of areas, including green and low-carbon, sustainable development and climate change, and the Chinese side will continue to lead green development. During the visit, Han Chang met with the British Prime Minister and the Prince. Han Chang said that in the era of globalization, economies of various countries are deeply integrated. China is promoting quality development and will expand high-level opening-up. China will strengthen cooperation with Britain to achieve mutual benefit and win-win and common development. The British side said that Britain and China are both permanent members of the UN Security Council. The British side attaches great importance to the development of relations with China. Britain will make equal efforts to establish stable and constructive relations with China.
