Several hundred people with portraits of their relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War and flags accompanied by patriotic songs marched along the city lane. As part of the event, traditional St. George ribbons were also distributed.

Employees of the Russian Embassy, ​​Russian citizens living in Tunisia, as well as Tunisians – graduates of Soviet and Russian universities and their families came to pay tribute to the memory of the feat of our ancestors.

“It is truly a holy holiday that embodies the courage, heroism, selflessness of the Soviet soldier who succeeded in breaking the back of the fascist machine.
