Sberbank has already issued over 425 million rubles of loans to small businesses in Crimea

After the start of work in Crimea, Sberbank issued loans to small businesses operating on the peninsula in the amount of more than 425 million rubles, Polina Trizonova, head of the press service of Sberbank, told reporters on Saturday.

“Since Sberbank began serving legal entities in Crimea, small businesses operating on the peninsula have received loans in the amount of more than 425 million rubles. During this time, Sberbank opened more than 500 settlement accounts for Crimean entrepreneurs, and also held more than 750 personal meetings with clients,” Trizonova said.

In January, Sberbank announced that it was starting work in Crimea, and in March the organization began providing services to legal entities. On Saturday, May 6, the first regional branch on the peninsula was opened in Yalta. In the coming days, it is planned to open an office in Sevastopol, then in Simferopol and other large cities.

According to the latest data, 30 Sberbank ATMs have been installed on the peninsula. By the holiday season, their number is going to increase to 80.
