Istanbul: At least six people were killed and 32 others were injured when a truck rammed several vehicles lined up at a gas station in Turkey’s Hatte province on Saturday, Turkish media reported. Two minibuses caught fire near a gas station after the truck rammed a line of parked vehicles, the DHA news agency reported. The incident took place outside the city of Belen in Turkey’s southern province of Hatay.
According to preliminary information, six people were killed and 32 others were injured in the accident. The news agency said that a large number of firefighters reached the spot to douse the fire. The identity of the truck driver and the reason why he lost control of the vehicle are yet to be ascertained.
