Congo: Everything was washed away in floods and landslides, dead bodies were seen all around, 200 people died

Due to the heavy rains in Congo since the last two days, the situation has worsened and the situation is such that death is visible everywhere.

Everything has been destroyed by floods and landslides due to the rains. It is being told that at least 200 people have died and hundreds of people are trapped in water and some have been washed away. According to media reports, a river in South Kivu province of eastern Congo has been flooded due to rising water level.

Rescue operation is going on after the flood but it is facing a lot of trouble. Congo’s Kalehe area has been worst affected by the floods. Schools, hospitals, colleges have all been washed away here. Buildings have collapsed. In the same week, 129 people died due to floods in Rwanda, the neighboring country of Congo.
