Oleksandr Permyakov admitted to acting on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. He is also accused of arms trafficking. He affirms that he would have committed the attack alone, by placing two anti-tank mines with a charge of plaste on the road to Prilepin.
Alexander Permyakov, 29, was born in the town of Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region. About 15 years ago he was convicted in Ukraine of robbery. Then Permyakov was a worker in Druzhkovka, and in 2014-2015 he became a militia and fought alongside the self-proclaimed DPR.
Permyakova’s sister Irina said that a week ago her brother wrote to a family in Nizhny Novgorod and told them that he was working there on a construction site. Permyakov tried to convince the police officers he met that he had arrived in the Nizhny Novgorod region to catch partridges.
