Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Chelyabinsk region arrested three people suspected of trying to sabotage the Southern Urals Railway. On the night of Sunday, May 7, assailants tried to damage relay cabinets on one of the sections of the road, the press service of the regional administration reported.

The suspects acted on instructions from Ukrainian special services. For this, they were promised a reward. A sabotage case was opened against the detainees.
The fire in the relay and battery cabinets on the Supryak – Tsemzavod section was recorded on the night of May 7. The sabotage was stopped in time. The incident did not affect the work of rail transport. A black balaclava was found at the scene.
The day before, Russian special services foiled attempts by the Ukrainian side to attack A-50 early warning aircraft based at the Severny airfield in the Ivanovo region. For the first time, saboteurs from Kyiv tried to damage the A-50 at the Belarusian military airfield in Machulishchi, which also ended in failure for the Ukrainian side.
