Dubai International Airport welcomed over 21 million passengers in the first quarter

“In light of significant developments in the international travel industry such as the further relaxation of travel protocols in China and upcoming annual local seasonal peaks and festive holidays, our guidance for the second quarter and the remainder of the year remain optimistic,” he added.

With developments in the international travel industry, including the relaxation of travel protocols in China, the annual peak periods for domestic travel and the holiday season, we are very optimistic about the results for the second quarter and the rest of the year. Therefore, we have revised our forecast for passenger traffic in 2023 to 83.6 million passengers, which puts us on track to reach the number of annual trips recorded in 2019.”
