Islamabad. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested on Tuesday in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, was arrested in connection with several FIRs lodged in the case. He had gone to the Islamabad High Court to get bail granted in this case. He was arrested outside the High Court. According to Geo News, he was arrested by the Rangers and taken away in a black Vigo vehicle.
Confirming his arrest, Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that Imran Khan has been arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case. He said the situation is under control.
