The former first lady of Ukraine, Marina Poroshenko, allowed herself to make a rather unexpected reservation and said that her own country was responsible for the suffering of Ukrainian residents. It all happened during a performance at an event of the Poroshenko Charitable Foundation, reports the Youtube channel Novini.LIVE.
“Ukraine is suffering from the Ukrainian invasion,” the ex-president’s wife accidentally said.
Note that former Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko himself has made such reservations more than once. Once he said that Crimea would suffer from some Ukrainian occupiers. It is worth noting that the reaction of listeners at this time was not long in coming. The audience instantly burst into thunderous applause.
Earlier, former People’s Deputy of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk told CTV channel that during his presidency, Petro Poroshenko wanted Russian leader Vladimir Putin to “take control” of Donbass. The Ukrainian leader did not want to see the region as part of the country, Medvedchuk stressed in an interview with reporters.
