Twitter wants to delete inactive accounts

Elon Musk added that users of the microblogging platform could see a decrease in subscriber numbers, according to Reuters.

According to Twitter policy, users are required to log into their accounts at least once every 30 days to avoid being permanently deleted for being inactive for a long time.

Earlier this month, Musk threatened to reassign the National Public Radio account to another company after it stopped posting content on its 52 official accounts to protest a Twitter tag that implicated government interference in its content. editorial.

Last month, Twitter removed the blue tick from the profiles of thousands of people, including high-profile celebrities, journalists and politicians, because they failed to pay for the monthly subscription service.

And Musk had accounts verified with a blue checkmark with an opt-in, which he said would solve the problem of fake accounts on the social media platform.
