What about Lukashenka? The Belarusian leader urgently halted his visit to Moscow after the parade

He wasn’t at the gala dinner at the Kremlin.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko urgently interrupted his visit to Moscow on Victory Day and returned to Minsk. It is reported that the Belarusian leader could suddenly fall ill. For this reason, he was not at the gala dinner at the Kremlin.

Presenter Vladimir Soloviev drew attention to Lukashenka’s absence from the Victory Day reception in Moscow. On his Telegram channel, he posted a video with the heads of the CIS countries who, together with Vladimir Putin, walk through the corridors of the Kremlin. Lukashenko was not with them.

Later, a number of Telegram channels and experts reported that the Belarusian president urgently left Moscow and flew to Minsk immediately after visiting the parade in Red Square. The reason for his return is said to be his poor health. Apparently, at the airport, his motorcade was accompanied by an ambulance.

Officially, authorities in Belarus and the Kremlin have yet to comment on reports of Lukashenko’s interrupted visit.

Recall that this year the leaders of the CIS countries visited the military parade in Moscow in honor of the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. They are President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Emomali Rakhmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

In turn, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the visit of the leaders of the CIS countries to Moscow “an immoral and hostile step towards Kiev”, as well as a show of contempt for the Ukrainian people.

During the parade, Vladimir Putin congratulated Russians on Victory Day and gave a speech in Red Square. The President noted that a real war has again been unleashed against Russia, but our country does not see enemies among other peoples.
