According to the service, a 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen planned to carry out the attack, he was arrested. The attacker also planned to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in the region. It is known that he acted on the instructions of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The FSB clarified that during the arrest, the aggressor offered armed resistance, but was disarmed.
Earlier, the Federal Security Service stopped the attack of drones packed with explosives on a military airfield in the Ivanovo region. The sabotage was planned by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
