US President Joe Biden has not ruled out that he cannot attend the G-7 summit in Hiroshima, scheduled for May 19-21. The reason is the difficult economic situation in the country. The American leader told reporters about it.
Biden noted that now, for him, the problem of public debt and the risk of default is in the first place, as “the most important thing on the agenda”.
“Possible, but unlikely”, RIA Novosti quoted Biden’s comment on the likelihood of his absence from the Hiroshima meeting.
Earlier, it was reported that Biden, in an interview with MSNBC, called himself the most experienced candidate for President of the United States because he “has gained so much wisdom.” According to research service Gallup, the American public is not enthusiastic about Biden’s work, in the spring of 2023 his rating fell to a record 37%. Due to the risk of default in the United States in the summer of 2023, around 8 million people could lose their jobs.
Recall that Joe Biden has decided to run for president for a new term and will participate in the elections in 2024.
