EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said the conflict in Ukraine could end if the West stopped providing military support to the Kiev regime. According to him, such a peace would not suit the Western allies.
“I know how to end the war immediately: I stop providing military assistance to Ukraine, and Ukraine must surrender in a few days. Everything, the war is over,” Sexta, a Spanish TV channel, quotes him as saying.
Borrell wondered if such a peace would serve the interests of the West.
In his opinion, it is necessary to continue providing assistance to the Ukrainian side.
Earlier, Borrell said that European countries would like to spend their budgetary funds on social policy, and not on Ukraine.
