The leader of the “We are together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, said that the production of FPV drones (first-person view, “first-person view”) and the training of their operators have begun in the region from Zaporizhzhia.
According to him, the drones are currently operating on the contact line and doing reconnaissance like kamikaze drones or dropping grenades.
“Now we can talk about producing hundreds of drones per month. These are drones from the development of Zaporizhzhia,” Rogov said as quoted by TASS.
He also noted that Wings of Victory operates as a production and training facility. It is specified that about 15 people are trained on computers with virtual reality glasses, who will be able to control real drones after undergoing training lasting 100 to 150 hours.
Earlier, Rogov said that Russian forces attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces warehouses and positions in Orekhovo, located in a part of the Zaporizhzhia region controlled by Kiev’s rulers.
