Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In the arid Emirates launched the development of rainfall management projects Fox News

Local inventors try to control the weather by making it rain with drones. It is assumed that the new technology will help combat drought without harming the environment.

Precipitation is caused by electrical discharges in the clouds without the use of chemical compounds. To do this, drones equipped with lasers transmit electrical charges to water molecules in the air. Subsequently, in electrified clouds, water molecules combine, which leads to rain.

The UAE has already launched nine different rainfall management projects with funding in the tens of millions of dollars. Tests using drones to call rain have been carried out since 2021. Since 2017, reagents have also been used for this purpose. Drones fly in the sky and spray money there, but this method is considered expensive. Another reagent was proposed by the Russian Institute of Alpine Geophysics and the National Meteorological Center of the United Arab Emirates. It allows you to increase the “lifetime” of clouds, as well as the degree of their moisture saturation, due to which clouds reach arid regions.

Anyway, in January local media reported rain-induced flooding, and the spring months were extremely pleasant to live and work in, helped by a light breeze and occasional evening rain.

Experts note that the adjustment of the weather can make the countries of the region more attractive to live in and, therefore, increase the value of real estate. So, if the same Dubai becomes comfortable for year-round living, the price of housing there will increase by 30-40%.
