Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba said that too much should not be expected from the announced offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as it is difficult to predict how it will end.
The minister, in an interview with the German newspaper Bild, noted that if the Ukrainian troops are able to “liberate” the territories taken from the control of the Russian armed forces, the offensive actions can be called successful. If that fails, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will prepare for the next offensive.
A similar opinion was expressed on the eve of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. He believes that overly optimistic expectations can lead to emotional disappointment.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the need to intensify hostilities. The President believes that the more victories the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieve on the battlefield, the more military allies Kiev will have, who can count on greater assistance.
Meanwhile, the RF Armed Forces continue to launch missile strikes on Ukrainian military installations. At the same time, according to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), these attacks have become less intense than during the bombardment of Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Experts conclude that Moscow is more interested in continuing a regular series of missile attacks than in their actual effectiveness.
