The journalists of The New York Post found out who appeared at the coronation of Charles III in the form of “death with a scythe.”

The solemn event of the transfer of power into the hands of the new monarch of Great Britain took place on May 6. The ceremony went without incident, but later Internet users noticed a strange man in a black cloak, hood and with an object similar to a scythe. He flashed through the aisle of Westminster Abbey.

The publication found out that the mysterious man is actually a simple church minister. He helped in the conduct of services and periodically carried a staff that looked so much like a scythe.

On the network, commentators joked that the daughter-in-law of Charles III or the wife of Prince Harry Meghan Markle was hiding behind the black robe, reports Moscow’s comsomolets .
