The design uses the latest artificial intelligence systems to control its movement, dynamic positioning, remote communications and cybersecurity.
SeaOwl, a French company specializing in the automation and digitization of maritime services, will design the ships, supervise their construction and facilitate their obtaining navigation permits. SeaOwl will work with Peruvertas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification, to facilitate obtaining the necessary navigational permits from the authorities responsible for shipping affairs in the UAE.
The design of the new ships will improve safety and reduce operating costs, as they will be able to operate in harsh conditions that other ships cannot endure working with their sailors on board.
And after the completion of its construction; The new vessels will join ADNOC L&S’ diverse fleet, as well as the company’s 1.5 million square meter integrated logistics base in Abu Dhabi and its integrated logistics capabilities, making it the leading integrated marine logistics company of the region.
