before the complete capture of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), the Russian forces must cover 742 meters

Artyomovsk is almost entirely controlled by Russian forces, they have 742 meters to go before the city is completely taken. A private military company (PMC) fighter Wagner spoke about it in a comment to RIA Novosti.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, he managed to calculate such a distance from where he himself was at the exit from the city. The latter is located at the intersection of Yubileynaya and Levanevskogo streets. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) still use this road to supply their units with food and ammunition.

“There’s nothing left,” the fighter said.

He noted that Ukrainian security forces are resisting fiercely, regularly and massively bombarding Russian positions with artillery. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hastily retreated beyond Chaikovsky Street, where they hoped to build a line of defense.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the offensive of assault detachments continues in the western part of Artyomovsk. Subdivisions of the airborne forces provide tangible support.
