Data on Ukrainian drones that attempted to attack Moscow on May 9 turned out to be unverified. This was stated by Major General of Aviation, Chairman of the Presidium of the public organization “Officers of Russia”, Sergey Lipovoy.
“The information about 100 Ukrainian drones that allegedly flew in Moscow on May 9 is unverified. It was obtained from unofficial sources through social media posts,” Lipovoy told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, at a press conference, Lipovoy told reporters that about 100 drones flew to Moscow on vacation to attack the city, but their attempts were unsuccessful. Thanks to the work of air defense and electronic warfare units, they were neutralized or destroyed.
