Bhubaneswar. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday. The officers provided this information.

Officials said Patnaik, who arrived in the national capital on Wednesday evening on a four-day visit, will brief the prime minister about his visit to Japan and talks with Nippon Steel about the proposed steel plant in Kendrapara district.

Besides, Patnaik may also press for sanctioning more houses for the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and expediting the implementation of some major railway and highway projects, he said. Patnaik had earlier met Modi on May 30, 2022, a month before the presidential election.
