Pakistan: Violence continues in Pakistan after Imran Khan’s arrest, PM Shahbaz’s house attacked, vehicles set on fire

Internet Desk. It has been two days since the arrest of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, but the matter does not seem to calm down in Pakistan. His party leader and his supporters are still protesting. Enraged by Khan’s arrest, his supporters attacked the country’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Lahore.

If media reports are to be believed, about 1000 miscreants belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party reached Shahbaz’s residence in Lahore and set fire to the vehicles parked there. On the other hand, Pakistan Police says that these supporters of Imran Khan also threw petrol bombs inside Shahbaz’s residence.

If media reports are to be believed, when Shahbaz Sharif’s residence was attacked, the guards were present there. The miscreants also set a police post on fire. After this, a large number of policemen reached there. Police say protesters have set fire to 14 government buildings and 21 police vehicles in Punjab in the past two days.
