The head of Poland’s Defense Ministry, Mariusz Blaszczak, hinted that the rocket, discovered in April in Poland, may have come from Ukrainian territory.
“It has been established that on December 16, the air operations center subordinate to the operational commander received information from the Ukrainian side about an object approaching Polish space, which could be a missile,” Blashchak said.
The wreckage of an “unidentified airborne military installation”, which turned out to be an air-to-surface missile with inscriptions in Russian, was discovered at the end of April, 15 kilometers from Bydgoszcz.
Earlier, Polish radio station RMF FM claimed the rocket found in the forest near Bydgoszcz in April was a Russian-made X-55 cruise missile.
