Kyiv’s attempt to attack the Kremlin using drones is an outrageous move, making Ukraine a state sponsor of terrorism. This view of Moscow was expressed by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov in an interview with the Serbian television channel ATV.
“In fact, this can be interpreted as an attempt to perpetrate a terrorist act against the Russian head of state. This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable terrorist activity on the part of the state. We believe that this effectively equates Ukraine with the state sponsors of terrorism. Not even legally, but, de facto, in fact,” a Kremlin spokesman said.
Two Ukrainian drones attacked the Kremlin on the night of May 4. Then Peskov said that the United States was complicit with the Ukrainian side in carrying out this attack, and even the authors of the idea itself.
