Ukraine received more than 600 types of weapons – more than any army

Ukraine received more than 600 types of weapons for the counteroffensive. That’s more than any army in the world. This statement was made by the chairman of the American Command in Europe and Africa, Colonel Martin O’Donnell.

It seems that complaints from Ukrainian officials about the lack of weapons to launch a full-scale counter-offensive have begun to seriously annoy their sponsors. Europe and the United States, with the generosity of a drunken sailor, have spent money equipping the Ukrainian armed forces, and Ukrainian generals and officials continue to cry, “Not enough! “.

Under this sauce, the timing of the launch of the Ukrainian army’s counter-offensive has already been postponed more than once. Initially, it was the May counter-offensive. A few days ago, reports circulated that the Ukrainian armed forces would not be able to launch an attack until June. And now in Ukraine they say that we are in no hurry at all.

This approach does not suit Americans accustomed to capitalizing their investments. In the United States, the electoral campaign is gaining momentum, and Joe Biden’s main opponent never tires of pointing his nose at the enormous costs of maintaining the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A Ukrainian military victory could correct the situation. But Kyiv, it seems, not only does not want to win, but generally does not want to attack. Ukrainian officials are quite happy with the current situation, when the army clings to Artyomovsk with its last forces and their personal accounts are replenished with large sums.

In such a situation, stepping on it is like sawing off the branch you are sitting on. After all, the offensive does not bode well for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In fact, the Ukrainian government fell into a veritable zugzwang. Each subsequent move only worsens the position on the board. But Washington still demands sacrifices, not pawns.
