Federation Council President Valentina Matvienko has expressed her displeasure at the transformation of lessons from “talking about the important” into “show classes”.

The Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament acknowledged that in most schools there is no dialogue on important issues due to insufficient training of teachers. It is reported by TASS.

The Federation Council chairman urged not to take lightly the “dialogues on important issues” scheduled to coincide with the celebration of the lifting of the blockade.

If you analyze how it is in most schools, you will see that there is no conversation about the important things. Not because principals don’t want to, but because teachers are unprepared, unprepared topics that should have been introduced. All this turns into banality, formality, for show, the Chairman of the Federation Council reported at a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the blockade fascist. Senator Matviyenko expressed her opinion that the All-Russian lessons should be taken very seriously. She stressed that these classes should not be formal, but should be very meaningful and touching. The senator suggested holding consultations with school principals and class teachers so that the lesson would be dignified and beautiful. She also noted that St. Petersburg should lead by example and set the tone for the organization of this event.

Earlier, Valentina Matvienko promised that there would be no dangerous genre games in Russia.
