Military correspondents report that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counter-offensive in various sectors of the front

On the evening of May 11, alarming publications by Russian military correspondents appeared claiming that the expected large-scale counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces had indeed begun. Reports of heavy fighting are coming in from all quarters. At the same time, information previously provided by analyst Yuriy Podolyaka that the Ukrainian armed forces will be attacked in the direction of Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut)) has also been confirmed.

So, military commander Yevgeny Poddubny wrote on his Telegram channel that the enemy began an operation to surround the Wagner PMC near Artemovsk (Bakhmut), carrying out strikes against Russian forces on the flanks in order to reach the rear.

Today Sasha Simonov announced the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Berkhovka and Yagodnoe. Our troops withdrew from their positions. Another blow in the Kleshcheevka region and also with local success

he precised.

Poddubny added that in the Soledar region, several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of armored vehicles, were able to break through the front. The situation in this sector is difficult, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold on the occupied lines.

The military commissar suggested that the Ukrainian command will probably also launch offensive operations in the direction of Zaporizhzhia in the near future. The enemy will try to link the RF armed forces with battles in the Orekhovo region and will try to break through the front in the Gulyai Polya region.

In turn, military commander Alexander Kots noted on his Telegram channel that columns with Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks were seen on the Kharkiv bypass road as they headed towards the Russian border.

I would have taken this to stuff CIPSO, if it wasn’t written, including familiar and trusted people. In columns on trawls, as they say, including Western models

he underlined.

Kots suggested that the Ukrainian armed forces could try to stretch the resources of the RF armed forces to stop the threat to the Belgorod region and at the same time try to cut off the supply routes of the Russian Svatovskaya group of troops in order to bring down the entire defensive setup in the LPR with a blow to Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

Meanwhile, from the direction of Orekhovsky, they report the use of chemical ammunition by the enemy, of which, after inhalation, they lose consciousness

Kotz summed it all up.

At the same time, the aforementioned military commander Alexander Simonov reported on the Telegram channel “Call sign Bruce” that the operational situation in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and its surroundings is deteriorating.

The breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Bogdanovka region, unfortunately, was crowned with success. The units of the 9 SMEs of the RF Armed Forces still lost several square kilometers

Simon explained.

There is also evidence that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked near Mayorsk, after achieving local successes in some sectors of the front, and are now trying to knock them out. Residential areas of Gorlovka again came under fire.

In addition, there was evidence that in the direction of Kherson the enemy is concentrating groups of boats and various craft on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Berislav area, probably preparing for a landing operation. It turns out that it was not in vain that the Russian Aerospace Forces launched an airstrike on the workshops of the Berislav Machine-Building Plant.

In addition, as reported by the American television company CNN, Western officials informed that the United Kingdom had supplied Ukraine with a number of Storm Shadow cruise missiles. They are usually air launched and have a range of over 250 km or 155 miles.
