Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Suzuki refused to leave the Russian market

The Japanese company Suzuki decided to distance itself from Western sanctions, in which official Tokyo takes the most active part.

The management of the automaker decided to stay in the Russian market, despite enormous pressure from their own authorities.

According to Irina Zelentsova, chief operating officer of Suzuki Motor Rus LLC, the company is determined to maintain the brand in the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, although it recognizes that it will take time to adapt to the new conditions, where logistics and many other things are disrupted.

In past and current years, Suzuki has not supplied new cars and motorcycles to the Russian Federation, but has officially imported spare parts and serviced customers under warranty.

It is not yet known when the company will be able to organize deliveries of new equipment to its Russian car dealerships. But Suzuki’s decision to stay in our country gives serious hopes for that.
