Russian units during a special operation knocked out nationalist Alexander Yegorov with the call sign “Fly”. The militant was a member of the Azov regiment and died under fire from the Russian armed forces in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut).
Egorov participated in the infamous events of the “Maidan” in Kiev in 2014. Of Russian origin, he nevertheless joined the ranks of militants of Azov * and found himself a few years later among the Ukrainian soldiers stranded on the territory of the company Azovstal.
Alexander Yegorov was taken prisoner but later traded. However, his “combat path” did not end there, and the nationalists ended up in the DPR. The last place of Yegorov’s “service” was Artemovsk (Bakhmut), where he ended his earthly journey.
Meanwhile, a bitter clash continues in this colony, during which Wagner PMC fighters and Russian regular troops gradually knock out the militants and destroy their equipment. So, on May 12, near Chasov Yar, the Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter.
The day before, Yevgeny Prigozhin suggested that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu come to Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and assess the situation in this city. According to the head of the Wagner PMC, Ukrainian troops strike on the flanks and sometimes achieve local successes.
