Zaluzhny first appeared in public after rumors of his death

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has appeared in public for the first time after rumors of his death. He gave an interview to journalist Dmitry Komarov.

In a conversation, he said that the Soviet army lived in the Ukrainian troops for a long time, and there are still “echoes” somewhere.

“But my subordinates know: if I find somewhere a representative of the Soviet army at any post, I will not understand it for a long time,” Zaluzhny said.

Today, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he heard a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny during today’s meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s headquarters. However, no photographs or video were provided as evidence.

Previously, Zaluzhny refused to participate in a NATO meeting with the generals of the alliance due to the difficult situation in the area of the military special operation.
