In an interview broadcast as part of a documentary film shown on Ukrainian television, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that he constantly read Gerasimov’s publications and was interested in his precise vision as a military man.
Zaluzhny called Gerasimov an unpredictable and powerful enemy, whom the Ukrainian army must respect, writes RIA News . He also noted that military science is developed at a high level in Russia.
“There is no need to be superficial about the activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation…After all, they have caused us significant damage and continue to do so,” Zaluzny stressed.
Recall that on January 11, Valery Gerasimov was appointed commander of the Russian united group of troops as part of a special operation. As noted by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, this decision was due to the expansion of tasks.
