Haryana: NRI grievance redressal cell should be set up in the state: Vij

Chandigarh. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has written a letter to the Chief Secretary regarding the formation of NRI Grievance Redressal Cell in the state keeping in view the interests of Haryana residents living abroad.

Mr. Vij wrote in the letter that it has come to his notice that the people of Haryana who are living abroad have problems related to various departments of the state like police department, health department or any other department, for the solution of which they have to Have to face a lot of trouble.

He wrote in the letter that ‘sometimes they (NRIs) do not even know which official of the department to approach for solving their problems. Even if such complainants/applicants come to India from abroad, they come only for a stipulated time. NRI People have to return abroad after getting upset due to the fixed time for the solution and follow-up of their problems.

Mr. Vij told that he has started ‘NRI. For easy follow-up and redressal of complaints/applications in the State, an NRI A letter has been written to the Chief Secretary to set up a Grievance Redressal Cell, so that they can get information about the action taken in relation to their complaints/applications and their solution under one roof easily within the prescribed time limit.
