Myasnikov warned that there is a high risk of developing cancer after a CT scan

Doctor and host of a popular Russian TV show, Alexander Myasnikov, warned that CT scans could lead to cancer and urged people not to undergo such tests unless they are medically necessary.

X-rays are associated with about two percent of all cancers, especially breast cancer, says Myasnikov.
