It has been reliably established that the leader died of a cerebral hemorrhage, which became possible due to arteriosclerosis of the vessels. This reason was identified by the medical board. The Russian physician assures that the disruption of the circulatory system of the brain happened for a different reason.
Novoselov made his conclusion based on the diaries of Lenin’s doctors. The described methods of treatment and the drugs that were prescribed to him indicate that he suffered from neurosyphilis.
“Lenin had precisely neurosyphilis, and it is associated with the appearance of his blood vessels at autopsy. His vessels were like cords, ”says the scientist.
In support of his hypothesis, he notes that the only doctor who disagreed with the cause of the cerebral hemorrhage was Lenin’s personal physician Fyodor Getye. He did not express ideas about neurosyphilis, but he could guess.
