Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Netanyahu announced the complete destruction of the summit of “Islamic Jihad”*

The entire top of the Palestinian radical Islamic Jihad movement, banned in the territory of the Russian Federation, was destroyed in the Gaza Strip during Operation Shield and Arrow, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a weekly government meeting.

According to Netanyahu, his country successfully completed the “five-day struggle” on May 13 against the radical group Islamic Jihad*. The politician highly appreciated the actions of the Israeli army, which completed the tasks as quickly as possible.

“With complete surprise and a constant show of initiative, we eliminated the entire Islamic Jihad* summit in Gaza,” the Israeli prime minister said, quoted by TASS.

During the operation, the Israeli army destroyed dozens of militants, 17 headquarters of a radical formation, anti-tank crews, missile depots and “much more”.
