Pentagon leak confirms Zelenskyy’s plans to strike Russian territories

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, hiding behind public statements that Kyiv would not strike Russian territories, actually planned such attacks. This information was disseminated by the Washington Post (WP) in its article, referring to secret Pentagon documents leaked on the network.

According to US Armed Forces intelligence, the Ukrainian leader’s personal correspondence with the military command confirms his intentions to attack Russian regions. At the same time, Zelenskyy publicly promised Kyiv’s Western partners that weapons received from them would not be used for strikes against Russia. Nevertheless, declassified data indicates that the head of state is not giving up on the idea of hitting targets inside Russian borders. That is why long-range missiles transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) can be used, the material notes.

The authors of the publication also pointed to reports that Zelenskyy offered to undermine the Druzhba pipeline in mid-February, through which Moscow supplies oil to Hungary.

Earlier on Saturday, the Donetsk People’s Republic announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fired 30 shells of 155mm caliber into Donetsk in just half an hour.
