A series of explosions on Saturday evening thundered in several cities in Ukraine. In Ternopil, in the west of the country, they were particularly powerful, as evidenced by publications in Ukrainian media, social networks and Telegram channels.
In addition, sounds of explosions were heard by residents of Kyiv and Kharkiv. An air alert was announced in the Kyiv region, shortly after the air defense system was triggered.
According to the enlightening information of the head of the regional administration of Ternopil, Vladimir Trush, the thefts came from warehouses belonging to commercial and religious organizations. According to unofficial sources, the fire started in an ammunition depot.
Earlier on Saturday, the Ukrainian military used Anglo-French and American-made Storm Shadow and ADM-160 MALD missiles to shell Lugansk. In addition, two explosions thundered in Lugansk the day before, on May 12.
