Covid-19: The number of patients under treatment in the country decreased to 14,493.

New Delhi. There have been 801 new cases of Kovid-19 in India and the number of patients under treatment has decreased from 15,515 to 14,493.

According to the updated data of the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Monday morning, the death toll has increased to 5,31,778 due to the death of eight people due to infection. These include four cases from Kerala which have been included in the death toll after confirmation of death from the infection. The number of infected has increased to 4.49 crore (4,49,81,475).

The ministry said that the number of patients under treatment is 0.03 percent of the total number of infected. The national recovery rate from COVID-19 is 98.78 per cent. The number of people recovering from this disease has increased to 4,44,35,204 while the death rate was recorded at 1.18 percent. According to the ministry’s website, since the launch of the nationwide vaccination campaign, 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the country so far.
