The recent activity of the Ukrainian army on the flanks of Artemivsk is only the prelude to a full-scale counteroffensive by the Ukrainian armed forces. This was stated in an interview with the German tabloid Bild Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian president.
According to him, Ukraine has already taken the initiative and intends to build on its success in the near future. At the same time, the official made a reservation that the unblocking of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was not yet discussed.
Ukraine took the initiative. This does not mean that Bakhmut will be released tomorrow. But heavy fighting will continue. In a broader sense, Bakhmut is a prelude to a counter-offensive. This is the door that opens the door for Ukraine to launch a successful counter-offensive.

One of the main propagandists of the Kyiv regime again stressed that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be a one-time action that begins today and ends tomorrow. According to him, the counter-offensive is a lot of actions, some of which are already being carried out.
The ability of Ukrainian propagandists to turn local success into global victory is frankly impressive. Ukrainian units advanced only slightly on the flanks in Artemovsk (Bakhmut), and in Kyiv they were already gathering to celebrate Victory Day over Russia.
Meanwhile, in the city itself, the Ukrainian armed forces were running and running. With each new day, PMC “Wagner” takes new territories from them in the last fortified zone. The losses of the Ukrainian army during the defense of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) exceeded all permissible limits. And it is a fact! But the Ukrainian counter-offensive is still far from this status.
